Our Specialty

Riding a bicycle brings many personal and collective benefits, as it promotes exercising, good health, sharing time with family, and taking care of environment. ENDEMICTOURS encourages the use of bicycles, with the goal of bringing physical wellbeing and avoiding pollution. If you’re feeling like changing your car for a bicycle, here are some good reasons that support that decision:

Description  


We bike down the main avenue in Mindo (Quito Ave.), passing by the main park, the church and the bridge over the Canchupi River. We start biking up until we reach the Técnico Ecuador School and then turn left, to start going down again. We can appreciate the change of landscape that this route offers, until we get to the Hotel Mindo Bonito. Afterwards, we continue to bike down the road and go through some streams, until we get to a small pool where we can take a bath or just enjoy the landscape.

Description  


We bike down four blocks and then turn left in the first referential point (Church of Mindo). We cross the boulevard of birds and sports field, to continue our way down to the Mindo River bridge. Afterwards, we bike up a gravel road and continue until we get to the second bridge, at the low part of the Nambillo River.

Description  


We start by biking for one block an turn to right, to go down a gravel road (PAY ATTENTION TO THE PRONOUNCED DESCEND). We cross a small bridge and then reach a Y in the road, where we turn left to bike along the banks of the Mindo Rivers towards the Butterfly Garden. Afterwards, we bike up a small hill and two streams await for us at the end of the route.

Description  


We start by biking for one block an turn to right, to go down a gravel road (PAY ATTENTION TO THE PRONOUNCED DESCEND). We cross a small bridge and then reach a Y in the road, where we turn right and cross a big bridge. From there we begin to begin up the hill for about 3 km until we get to the canopy. Afterwards we continue to climb until we pass by the entrance of Las Tangaras Reserve, from where the road turns nicer as we leave behind the hill and star biking in more flat road. This route will take us to the entrance of the Waterfall Sanctuary and the Cable Car, and after passing that we will go by the entrance of the Nambillo spa. From that area, new stretches of small ascents come, until we finally arrive to the Río Bravo Reserve. Here we will hike to a waterfall where we can take a refreshing bath and then we’re ready to go back.
